Assaf Natanzon, currently the VP Technology in Huawei Storage and the Director of the Data Management Lab in Huawei Tel Aviv R&D Center, has 25 years of engineering experience in storage and algorithm fields. Prior to Joining Huawei Assaf was senior Distinguished Engineer at Dell EMC Office of the CTO where he served as VP of Technology and Investment Evaluation, in his role Assaf evaluated new technologies and defined the future of Data Protection and Data Management as well as led the investment in local startup companies. Viktor K. Prior to that, he spent two years with Micron's Architecture Definition Group (ADG) in Boise, ID and three years with Samsung's Memory Solution Lab in San Jose, CA, where he was involved in R&D, evaluation and prototyping of next generation memory and storage systems. He has served on program committees of many conferences, was awarded the Early Career Research Award (ECRA) by Science and Education Research Board (SERB), a Research Fellowship by IIT Gandhinagar and a Teaching Fellowship by the University of Utah. He is the co-author of two best paper award winning publications.

His research interests are in the areas of Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, and Computers and Society.

Steven Tan is VP & CTO Cloud Solution, Storage at Futurewei where he is responsible for open source strategy and collaboration. Steven brought together leaders across industries, and founded the SODA Foundation which he currently serves as chair. SODA Foundation is a transformation of the Linux Foundation OpenSDS project which he initiated previously. Steven’s career brought him across Singapore, US, China and Taiwan, and includes roles as founder and CTO at Cloudena, VP Engineering at ProphetStor, and VP Engineering and Technology at CipherMax. Steven is an alumnus of Nanyang Technological University and National University of Singapore.

Manjunath Iyer, is a Senior Developer at Atlassian and has over 8 years of experience building products. Manju spent 5+ years at Apple before joining Atlassian in 2015 to join the Sourcetree team in San Francisco to build the Git UI client on macOS. During this period, he has also been actively involved in the Git and mercurial community and presented with the Sourcetree team at Git contributors summit and various other conferences including the Nasscom Game Developers Conference in India. He now works with the Marketplace engineering teammate Atlassian from Bangalore enabling developers to build the next million apps for Atlassian Ecosystem.

Manjunath holds a Masters in Software Systems from BITS-Pilani and has multiple certifications from Stanford University in the fields of Project Management and Public Speaking.

Dr. Zia Saquib, Senior Vice President- Technology Innovation & Development at Reliance Jio is responsible for Government to Citizen (G2C) Platforms and Services, 3D Computer Vision, Visual Perception in Autonomous Vehicles, SLAM, Sensor Fusion, Kalman Filtering. In the past, Dr. Saquib served as Executive Director of C-DAC Mumbai. He is also in the working Groups of many of the e-Governance Standards of the Government of India. His research interests are in the areas of network security & biometrics. and also lead the project on e-Pramaan. In his earlier career, he had worked with multi-national organizations in the United States of America, in various positions, including the CTO of Infotec, in Florida.

Aseem Vardhan works as a Senior Director of engineering with the HPE Storage division and leads a global engineering team of R&D engineers to build “Intelligent Storage” that is self-healing and self-managing using AI and ML. Prior to this role, Aseem has spent more than a decade in Operating systems group where he led advanced product development teams in the areas of High Availability, Systems Management, and OS security. During the start of his career, Aseem worked with Sun Microsystem in the Operating systems group in the Bay area as Member of technical staff and then moved to Bangalore to set up the engineering group. Aseem holds an engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Masters in Business Administration with Specialization in technology management from the University of Phoenix.
